In these crucial and grave times of the history of our homeland Iraq which has been invaded, occupied and destroyed against the world rules and against international legitimacy, and after you admitted and your Intelligence services the falsehood of the information which were a basis for the aggression, and based on the United Nations secretary general and International political and law personalities indicating the illegitimacy of your war and whatever results and creations it may produce, for it is null and void so are whatever arrangement it creates such as the so called court and the illegal trial which doesn't represent the will of the Iraqi people, which utterly rejects it! Moreover this trial is yet another link of the aggression and occupation cycle that the International Law utterly rejects and doesn't allow the Occupation forces to change the occupied country's legal and constitutional systems.
What happened in Iraq such as total destruction, sectarian loggerhead, and civil strife which have divided the sons and daughters of a united people, is the full responsibility of your administration on the legal and on the ethical level... It is also a strategic blunder admitted by many of your politicians and generals... So any added grave blunder or dangerous error to be undertaken as the rumors go behind the stage that there is a ready made unjust decision being already taken, even before the Occupation started, which could be issued by this court to liquidate his Excellency President Saddam Hussein timed with the Congress half term elections the administration attempts to exploit to salvage its reputation.
Such a decision will be the spark that will burn everything and will drown the region into the furnace of the unknown, especially when Iraq occupation has made the region lose its strategic balance and allowed Iran do whatever it likes. Iran considered as the Arabs, and Muslims' enemy number one, to which you delivered Iraq on a golden tray.
Mr. President: Iraq loves its legitimate and patriotic leadership and in particular his Excellency President Saddam Hussein to whom it holds and does whatever it can to bring back to lead the country, to rebuild and restore its security anew... The clearest proof for all that is the support shown by more than 600 leaders of the most important tribes of Iraq who asked for his Excellency return to govern Iraq. Moreover through this decision, you throw your troops which lost control over Iraq, to extreme dangers and expose your national interests and those of the region and its security to grave consequences and danger for generations... In the meantime the Iraqi and the US peoples and all the peoples of the region will pay a dear price for such a decision you may insist to impose, for every one knows that this court is political and has nothing to do with the Law, that is why we insist on the necessity to put an end to this trial-masquerade and to liberate his Excellency President Saddam Hussein and all the detainees. This will be the only exit for your forces and your difficult situation in Iraq... It will also be the ideal solution for the future of Iraq, the region and the world.
From President Saddam Hussein's and his comrades detainees' Defense Committee (ISNAD) has undertaken whatever possible to show the truth known to everyone.
